Yesterday we got together at Luana's house to pack boxes for 67 of our military family and friends currently deployed. We had a great time, shared lots of laughs, and a couple bottles of wine. With donations from a Harley Group, stockings from Common Threads quilt Guild, cute jars of BBQ sauce, toiletries donated from friends, we were able to fill those boxes full.
I just found your blog while doing a little research. I love it! Much success to your work. My mom put a blue star in our window when my oldest brother was in prison camp during WW II. I think she left it there for years, as I remember it there even up to my teen years. God bless.
